Privacy Policy

Veer Apps ("we", "us", or "our") provides Dinner Decided, localized in Turkish as Dolabını Çek (the "app"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information you provide

When you choose to use the app's features, the app may process pantry or food photos, ingredient corrections, recipe preferences, cooking history, ratings, and notes. The app also uses a randomly generated identifier to associate your sessions and entitlement with your device experience.

How information is used

We use this information to identify visible ingredients, generate and improve recipe suggestions, maintain your cooking history, enforce usage limits, provide support, secure the service, and diagnose failures.

How information is collected

Photos are collected only when you actively use the camera or photo picker. Ingredient corrections, recipe requests, ratings, and notes are collected when you enter or submit them. A random app identifier is generated on your device. We do not access your photo library in the background.

AI processing and your permission

Before the first AI operation, the app explains what will be sent, identifies OpenAI as the recipient, and asks for your permission. If you allow it, your selected food or pantry photos and relevant ingredient, language, and recipe-request context are transmitted through the app's server to OpenAI solely to provide the analysis or recipe you requested. If you decline, this data is not sent and the AI feature does not run. You may revoke this permission in the app; the next AI request will require permission again.

OpenAI is required to protect the data it processes for us under its applicable data-processing and security commitments. Do not upload images containing people, confidential documents, payment information, or other sensitive personal information.

Storage and sharing

App data is stored on systems used to operate the app. We share data with OpenAI only as described above and with infrastructure providers needed to host and secure the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information and do not use this data to track you across apps or websites.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to provide and secure the service or meet legal obligations. To request deletion of data associated with your app identifier, contact [email protected]. We may ask for information needed to locate the relevant record.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the current version.

Subscriptions and RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription access and restore purchases. The random app identifier and purchase information, such as product and transaction identifiers and subscription status, are processed by RevenueCat for this purpose. Apple handles payments; do not send us card details.

Apple Ads attribution

On iOS, RevenueCat collects an Apple AdServices attribution token and obtains Apple Ads campaign information to measure which campaigns lead to downloads and subscription revenue. We use this information for analytics and our own marketing. It is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
