Veer Apps ("we", "us", or "our") provides Pantry AI. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information you provide

When you choose to use Pantry AI features, the app may process pantry or food photos, ingredient corrections, recipe preferences, cooking history, ratings, and notes. The app also uses a randomly generated identifier to associate your sessions and entitlement with your device experience.

How information is used

We use this information to identify visible ingredients, generate and improve recipe suggestions, maintain your cooking history, enforce usage limits, provide support, secure the service, and diagnose failures.

AI processing

Photos and relevant ingredient or recipe context are sent through our server to OpenAI to provide the requested analysis and recipe features. Do not upload images containing people, confidential documents, payment information, or other sensitive personal information.

Storage and sharing

App data is stored on systems used to operate Pantry AI. We disclose information only to service providers needed to run the app, when required by law, or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to provide and secure the service or meet legal obligations. To request deletion of data associated with your Pantry AI identifier, contact [email protected]. We may ask for information needed to locate the relevant record.

Children

Pantry AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the current version.
